I See, You See

“I See, You See” is a movement joined by a group of people who wanted to spread love of the ocean. Indonesia Biru believes that the key to conserving our ocean is by knowing what it consists of, seeing it, loving it and then care for it. We want to invite everyone to join us in this movement and start understanding why it is so important for us to take charge in making our ocean “whole” again. The simple program collects old “still usable” swimming goggles and donate them to Indonesian children around the coastal area along with a literature so they can see and learn how to care for their ocean. 

Founded in 2020 by the Indonesia Biru Foundation, Wallace Conservation Licoupang (WCL) is a community-based collaborative initiative dedicated to protecting and conserving the nature, culture, and people of North Minahasa, North Sulawesi. WCL focuses on field-based conservation, environmental education, and inclusive community development to support biodiversity protection, cultural resilience, and the livelihoods of local communities. Through strong engagement with local residents and academic institutions, WCL promotes long-term ecosystem stewardship and develops conservation models rooted in local wisdom and scientific collaboration.
