About Us
YIB History and Founding
Yayasan Indonesia Biru was founded in 2012 by a group of nature-loving friends including; Leo Rustandi, Paquita Widjaja, Donny Priandono, Tara Sutrisno, and Argo Wibowo. Yayasan Indonesia Biru was established to raise awareness among the public about the importance of protecting OUR biodiversity.
Throughout its process, Yayasan Indonesia Biru consistently collaborates with other institutions due to the belief that fostering cooperation and collaboration will be far more effective in implementing programs of high urgency.
What We Do
As a foundation, our goal has always remained the same, to improve upon local quality of life and income, while at the same time protecting the rich natural landscape that we call home.
We do this by creating awareness of the importance of the environment and introducing alternative economic practices which may be both more sustainable and profitable.
Goals for the Future
Our goal for the future is to aid in the creation of a world where both humans and nature can co-exist, supporting each other with both giving and receiving, all to create a utopia where humans and nature may live together in harmony.
